Requesting IP Addresses
From Ubiquity Web Hosting Wiki
You can request additional IP addresses for all of Ubiquity's web hosting services at the rate of $2/month per IP address. To do this, simply open a support request with us with the domain name you'd like to associate with the IP. No further justification (explained below) is necessary to do this. The maximum limits on adding additional IP addresses to your account are as follows..
Shared web hosting: 1 IP per account Reseller web hosting: 1 IP per domain Virtual private servers: 8 IP's per container Dedicated servers: 256 Maximum, provided ARIN's justification policy is met (explained below)

Larger IP Provisions
Dedicated server clients only are able to order additional IP addresses in blocks. Ubiquity will provide as many IP's as needed to any client, provided that standard ARIN IP justification is met on allocations beyond clients initial /29 provision.
What is ARIN IP Justification?
ARIN is the organization that presides over all IP provisions in North America. Contrary to popular myth - no one provider has the ability to provide you more IP's than any other by their policies. With that in mind - we have no reason to not to provide you as many IP's as you would like either - so long as you do not break their policies, which is available to the public at http://www.arin.net/policy/nrpm.html - the most relevant section being 4.2.
How do I provide Justification
We have a 2 page .doc with a few simple questions. It's available at http://www.ubiquityservers.com/IP_Just.doc - simply fill this out and attach it to a support ticket at https://support.ubiquityhosting.com when making your request. Some of the more common justifications for IP's are..
- Game servers
- Voice servers
- Virtual private servers
- SSL certificates (when they provide all, or at least many domain names)
- Other applications that run on a unique port
Please try to provide as many hypothetical hostnames that you would use with your IP space or domain names if possible. It is not necessary to provide domain names or hostnames for 100% of your IP's, but provide as many as possible for assure for a speedy approval of your justification. Most IP justification forms are approved within 24 business hours.
What does Ubiquity charge for IP's?
Due to potential overheads on IP ranges used for legitimate emailing purposes, Ubiquity's rate for servers whose primary function is to send opt-in newsletters and legal bulk email from our standard rates. As it's understood that even the most legitimate of services that send email will get the occasional complaint from someone who didn't remember when they signed up, IP ranges justified for any email-sending organization in the past are kept as a separate pool and will not be used for other clients web servers.
