Get an FTP Client

Here are a few recommended FTP clients that you can download for free.

• CoreFTP
• SmartFTP
• FileZilla

Create an FTP Account

This can be done simply using your control panel. Here's how to do it using cPanel.

Connection Information

Server:    yourdomain.com   (or the server IP address in your welcome email)
Port:    21   (default)
User:    (created in your control panel)
Password:    (created in your control panel)
