From Ubiquity Web Hosting Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

As of 10/1/2008, Ubiquity uses cPanel for all web hosting clients. Clients that signed up for our services previous to this time may instead have the Interworx or Plesk control panels. Click on the control panel name for more information on its functionality - or look below for a picture and more information if you're not sure which control panel you're using.

Control panel login information is sent to you via welcome email when you first sign-up. If you have lost this email, you can have it sent again it via https://manage.ubiquityhosting.com on shared/reseller accounts, or by logging in to https://support.ubiquityhosting.com/ for VPS/dedicated.

cPanel / WHM

As of 10/1/2008, all new Ubiquity web hosting accounts of all varieties utilize cPanel as their web-based control panel. If you signed up after this time - this is the relevant hosting environment / control panel that applies to you.

Past Control Panels

A number of our older clients have the InterWorx or Plesk control panels available to them instead of cPanel. Find information on using these control panels listed below.

InterWorx (SiteWorx / NodeWorx)

InterWorx was used for a very long time for our shared, reseller, vps, and dedicated hosting clients and is still in use for a number of websites.

Plesk

Plesk is the least common control panel we've ever supported, however some older Ubiquity accounts may use Plesk as their web-based control panel. Previously known as our "Professional" hosting environment, this was used as a less user-friendly but capable platform for support Java and Ruby applications.
